Q. Can I see my site before DNS propagation?

A.
A. If you just changed over to our service and your DNS has not updated yet, here is a quick way to get it working instantly.

Assuming you are using Windows XP, open the 'hosts' file located here:

c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts

Using notepad, you will see something like this:

127.0.0.1 localhost

Using the IP that you received in your welcome email, enter it along with your domain like so:

XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX your_domain.com
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX www.your_domain.com

Now close and save.

Open up "your_domain.com" in your browser and you should be instantly on your site with waiting!

This will only work for you locally, everyone else on the internet will need to wait.

You can now upload your site and make changes while everyone waits.

NOTE: Keep in mind, this only works for your site through a browser.

NOTE: Email will still be unavailable until DNS updates everywhere.
